Cheese Krispies – Fort Lee

2 cups sharp cheddar, finely grated
2 sticks softened margarine
2 cups sifted flour
dash cayenne pepper
2 cups Rice Krispies
Mix cheese and margarine until creamy.
Add flour, then Rice Krispies and pepper.
Toss into marble sized balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and crisscross with a fork.
Bake at 375 until lightly browned, about ten minutes.

Do not store in airtight container or they will not be ‘krispie’ for long!
