Peanut Butter Cookies and Sultans

½ cup Crisco
one stick butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
2 ½ cups self-rising flour

Mix first six ingredients and then blend in flour. Cover and chill until firm. Shape in 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake in preheated 375 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. For Sultans, add a Hershey Kiss to top of each cookie while still warm.
