Beer Bread /Whole Wheat Beer Bread

3 cups self-rising flour / 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1 cup self-rising flour
3 T sugar
12 ounces beer / 12 oz beer and 2 oz water
Optional: add one cup grated cheddar or desired herbs for flavoring.

Combine all ingredients well and pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 375 for an hour. Cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes before turning out.
